Amy Ames

Manager

Amy is originally from Georgia but has moved all over thanks to her husband’s career in the military. She started running longer distances in 2013 while her husband was deployed. After completing her first 5k, Amy was hooked! Her travels have allowed for some great experiences such as running at -20° in Alaska to completing the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC.

Amy loves to guide and encourage others in their running and fitness journeys. While living in Alaska, she started and led a chapter of Stroller Warriors Running Club, a global club for military spouses and their families. She currently serves on their Headquarters team, helping to shape the club and its leaders. Amy also coached a running club at her kid’s school while they lived in Virginia. It was there that she started her journey working in run specialty. After moving to Colorado in 2020, finding RNK was like finding home.

Amy geeks out on running gear and helping others find the right tools to be successful with their goals!
